Janine Mack is a cross platform associate producer at CNN in Atlanta, Ga. Currently, she is on rotation with AC360° where she corrects on air mistakes for the show’s replay, assists with ACFC, AC360°’s digital show, and got to try her hand at package producing. When she’s not on rotation, Janine freelances as a cross platform production assistant, where she assists with logging, escorting guests and cutting links for guests.

Janine also worked as an associate producer at KTVT in Fort Worth, Texas and at KTAL in Shreveport, Louisiana. She got her start as a desk assistant at WABC-TV in New York City.
Janine has a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting, telecommunications and mass media from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pa. During college, Janine realized her interest in news while completing a production internship at WPVI in Philadelphia and never looked back. After college, Janine freelanced as a desk assistant at PBS Newshour in Arlington, Va., at WWOR-TV in Secaucus, N.J. and at WOR News Radio before a lay off inspired her to get her degree in journalism in 2012. She has a master’s degree in broadcast and digital journalism from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University in Upstate NY.
Janine is a member of the Alpha Gamma chapter of Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc., where she currently serves as Alpha Gamma’s chapter editor and as the South Atlantic Region’s editor. Janine manages the social media platforms and the website for the Alpha Gamma chapter and for the South Atlantic Region. Janine is also a member of the Junior League of Atlanta, the National Association of Black Journalists, and the Atlanta Association of Black Journalists.
Janine grew up in the Weequahic section of Newark, New Jersey.
